Olusola Olawale aka Solar

I'm a senior web engineer at Cadana (opens in a new tab), where I build the web apps that companies use to pay people in more than 100 countries. Before that I led the web team at Radius (opens in a new tab), and at Gladepay (opens in a new tab) I helped build the dashboard and rebuilt the checkout they used then, in Vue.

I have built for the web from Abuja 🇳🇬 since 2017. Outside work I make small products of my own, like Ise, a focus panel for Mac that works with Claude Code, and Um-breaker, a speaking coach.

IseA focus panel for Mac that works with Claude Code2026
Ise floating at the corner of a Mac screen, next to its timer bubble

Ise (iṣẹ́, Yoruba for work) is a small panel that floats at a corner of your Mac and shows one block of work at a time. It rings when a block has not started or runs past its time, so the day keeps moving.

It also notices which Claude Code sessions stopped with work left, so nothing slips between them. Everything stays on your Mac: no server, no account, no analytics.

Um-breakerA speaking coach that helps you say “um” less2026
Um-breaker: a voice wave with one long pause marked in orange

Speak less um. Pause more. You record a short answer, it listens for long pauses and filler words, and helps you sound more sure of yourself, a few minutes a day.

Spool SortA race to sort ribbon spools by colour2026
Spool Sort's start screen: a white stand with ribbon spools on its pegs, and buttons to race the computer, play two players or try a time trial

Ribbon spools are mixed up on the pegs of a 3D stand. Lift a spool from one peg, drop it on another, and keep going until every peg holds one colour. Fastest hands win.

Race the computer at a speed you pick, play a friend on the same screen, or try to beat the clock.
